RootsTech Family Fun
This was a fun conversation today as Crystal Lorimor from The Creighton Cabin my newly found 13th cousin twice removed, joined me to discuss the excitement of our connection. As you can see this is a very distant relationship, but it’s no less joyous for me, than if we were first cousins.
We are connected on the line from my 2x great grandmother, who for many years has been my brickwall. I knew she emigrated to Australia from Scotland, but nowhere have I ever found where she was from in Scotland. I now have a starting point to build a story of her life in Scotland, and of her ancestors.
This connection was also a surprise for Crystal and it was interesting to hear about the connection she found to The Creighton Cabin
Unfortunately, we had a technical issue today and Erin wasn’t able to join me on the Live as was promoted. Hopefully we can arrange to catch up on a Live together very soon. Watch this space.
