I was very surprised when I came across this newspaper article many years ago. I was searching for my great grandfather in our newspaper archive and came across his father. We have a wonderful newspaper archive here in Australia. All the information pointed to it being him and then when his death certificate arrived it confirmed that he drowned at the Water Supply area in Flinders Street. It’s amazing what you can come across just by chance @Carole McCulloch
I was literally (& I mean literally) googling the fashion designer Alexander McQueen when this turned up in my inbox.
How funny Jo. Every time I see him in the news I do wonder if he’s way back relative. Considering his creativity, I would say, probably not.
