We're still not showing up as connected in Relatives at RootsTech. But we do share several famous relatives. One interesting historical note, my 10th grandfather, Sir Isaac Pennington (the elder) was a prominent Puritan who served as Lord Mayor of London in 1642 and Lieutenant of the Tower of London during the reign of your relative, Charles I. Isaac was one of the jurors who convicted Charles and sent him to his death, but Isaac would not sign the death warrant. When Charles II was restored to the throne, Isaac was tried for treason and sent to the Tower of London, where he died about a year later.
Isaac's son, Isaac the younger (my 9th ggf) became a well-known Quaker whose step-daughter was William Penn's first wife.
So, we're not related on that line. But have an important historical connection.
